Arnie Wickens started out volunteering as a teenager before moving into paid volunteer management positions. He then proceeded to the development and management of large volunteer programmes across the UK while an Assistant Director of UK charity CSV (Community Service Volunteers). Wickens led CSV’s volunteer management consultancy services for 12 years, including training and policy development to government, corporate and non-profit sector organisations across UK Europe and beyond.
Wickens holds a Masters in Social Policy from University of Kent. His volunteering today includes giving front-line advice with the UK’s Citizens Advice Service and chairing the governing body of a specialist school and college for young people with complex and profound additional needs near his home in London.
