Elizabeth Weinstein is the owner of Elizabeth Weinstein and Associates, a training and consulting practice based in Des Moines, Iowa. Since 1990, the mission of her company has been to provide innovative programs and services that challenge people to excel.
Weinstein has used her skills to help a variety of business corporations, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations in a broad range of areas that include strategic planning, leadership development, continuous quality improvement, team building and mentoring. She has gained the reputation for being a skilled facilitator and trainer, a proficient project manager and a creative writer. Weinstein has a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from Buena Vista University, a Master of Science degree from Creighton University and a Ph.D. in community and human resources from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
Weinstein’s experience has expanded into the challenging area of how to engage Baby Boomers in volunteer service. She believes that this is a prime time for helping Baby Boomers determine what they want to be when they grow older. By offering them interesting and challenging volunteer opportunities; by helping them realize the enormous contribution of service they can make to their communities, Baby Boomers will see service as the Baby Boomer generational legacy.
