Terry Straub is the University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardner Program – Hennepin County Coordinator. Master Gardener volunteers bring research-based horticultural information to the Hennepin County community through various educational activities. Straub has worked as the director for the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of the Greater Twin Cities, a volunteer program manager for the former Minnesota Office of Citizenship and Volunteer Services, the Minnesota AIDS Project and adjunct faculty with the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business.
Straub is the recipient of the Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration (MAVA) Award for Excellence in Volunteer Leadership and the U of M Extension Dean’s Extinguished Staff Award. He has a BA in Music from Minnesota State University – Mankato, and received his Certificate in Volunteer Management from Hamline University.
