Kerrie Spinks has worked in a training and research role with People First –Total Solutions (www.pfts.com.au/) since May 2005. She spent nearly 10 years managing a Volunteer Resource Centre in Regional New South Wales, Australia. She has done a secondment with Volunteering Victoria for ten weeks and then undertook a project for Volunteering Australia – this project was the writing of a Learner Guide for an Advanced Diploma in Volunteer Management.
Kerrie has vast experience working within the not-for-profit sector for the last 11years. A major role over the last decade has been to support and resource volunteer-involving organisations – delivering training and providing best practice information. She has a strong commitment to the volunteering sector – believing that volunteers assist to make the community more inclusive and the contributions made by passionate and socially-engaged volunteers result in services and activities that make society a better place for all.
