Allison R. Russell is an Assistant Professor of Public and Nonprofit Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her research focuses on nonprofit management, including volunteering and volunteer management, ethical decision-making in public and nonprofit agencies, and the influence of organizational behavior on stakeholder perceptions. Russell currently teaches a class on volunteer management at UTD and enjoys using the classroom as a space to bring researcher and practitioner voices together. She views the Research to Practice section of Engage as another critical space for facilitating these conversations and is excited to be a part of the team.
Russell is the co-author of Ethics for Social Impact (2018) and has published articles in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly,Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and Voluntas.
