Jay Qin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) at the University of New South Wales. She is a solicitor and has previously worked at the international law firm, DLA Piper.
Having chosen to focus on the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Qin has trained to be a CINERGY® conflict management coach, and is also working towards becoming an NMAS accredited mediator, having completed a 5-day mediation course in 2014.
Qin is the Mediation manager at Negocio Resolutions. Her role is to co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of the firm in its many facets, such as managing client relationships, organising mediations and training courses, facilitating processes, conducting research, managing social media, implementing marketing strategies, and writing articles.
Qin is an avid traveller and has completed two semesters abroad while at university – one semester at Pennsylvania State University in the United States studying Psychology, and another semester at Uppsala University in Sweden studying Law. She also completed a summer semester at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. Qin has travelled extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has also been to Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore.
