Laura Hamilton is Volunteer and Development Manager at George House Trust, an HIV charity in the North West of England. Her previous experience includes working on youth volunteering, mentoring, and supported volunteering programmes. Hamilton is passionate about involving volunteers in new and imaginative ways to help organisations grow, and she sees volunteer managers as playing a dynamic and vital role within the charity sector.
Hamilton is Chair of the Volunteering Greater Manchester Partnership and a member of the Guardian's Voluntary Sector Network Advisory Panel. She is actively involved in VM Movement's Thoughtful Thursdays and regularly tweets and blogs about volunteer management.
