After 20 years working in the nonprofit sector, Karin Davis used her creativity, energy, and passion to start a new venture and created Neoteric Minds, based in Kitchener, ON. Through Neoteric Minds, Davis now works with organizations in the nonprofit sector advocating new ideas for building capacity through training and development, consulting, coaching, and facilitation.
Davis has an extensive background in volunteer engagement. She has managed volunteers in a small national organization and managed the volunteer engagement strategy at the provincial level for a large national organization. Davis also coordinated a citywide Volunteer Centre and was the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Professional Administrators of Volunteer Resources – Ontario (PAVR-O). Davis has developed and delivered engaging and dynamic training sessions for more than two decades and has worked with many volunteer administrator associations in Southern Ontario. She has presented at the National Conference for Volunteering and Service (NCVS), PAVR-O’s provincial conference as well as the national conference sponsored by Canadian Administrators of Volunteer Resources (CAVR).
Davis is finishing her Masters Certificate in Adult Training and Development and Certified Training and Development Practitioner designation, and is a certified Personality Dimensions facilitator.
